Inspired by Mali Blues band Tinariwen, Swedish label Blank finds a reason for a change of pace this season. Belonging to the Nomadic people of Touraeg, Tinariwen was founded, while training in a Libya military camp for independence from Mali’s regime. Adding a certain quality of lightness to their work, Blank took on this atmosphere, translating it into earthy hues of relaxed draping and protection. Deconstructed and worn-in, designers Fredrik Blank and Åsa Göransson manage to craft a collection that boasts their trademark tailoring alongside a noticeable departure, which gravitates towards a more organic range.
There's no single piece of this collection that I would wear, even when they were for free!

i like the idea of the whole head scard thing but there really isn't a way to wear one without looking like a Jihad terrorist
