Inspired by a camping trip to Dungeness, Carolyn Massey decided to take her man on a similar journey. Departing a dark moody fall, Massey’s man makes a trip seaside for a rugged, but sophisticated affair. Taking from the colors of the scenery, a majority of the collection finds its footing in navy and olive green. Cable knit sweaters and tailored shorts represent the gentleman, while Massey has her way with the traditional nylon windbreaker, in turn creating a chic cropped jacket. Altogether, the spring collection sees the marriage of a modest silhouette to impeccable detailing, whether it is in the form of a subtle fold-over waist or angled hemline. Massey delivers another excellent collection with equal parts of functionality and style.
