After teasing with numerous previews, Jeroen van Tuyl has released his spring 2010 lookbook in entirety. Bringing attention to the softer side of menswear, the collection sees the gradual transformation of traditional standards into garments that are anything but ordinary. Working closely with fabric texture and finish, elements are cut away to reveal new identities. While pleated trousers represent a form of familiarity, knits manage a subtle drama with defined collars and deep necklines. Meanwhile, alternative fabrics are interlocked to create a natural pattern that echos the collection’s sentiments of grace and relevance.
