For their spring 2010 collection, London-based label Komakino juxtapose clean tailored lines with a rebellious deconstruction process. Inspired by iconoclasm, images of a religious nature are reconstructed for a cult-driven aesthetic infused with both urban and military motifs. Taking from varied sources of inspiration, the Komakino man represents the momentum that accelerates menswear forward. In this mode of thought, Komakino has forged three collaborative relationships for the upcoming spring season: “accessories with Keko Hainswheeler, jewelery with Dog-state and rubber couture with designer Atsuko Kudo.”
