Barcelona-based designer Lydia Delgado might evoke the image of a docile woman of yesterday’s past for her latest collection, but there is no denying that this same woman is strongly matched against her more effeminate counterpart. Dressed quite simply in pale colors, Delgado’s man is fragile and exposed. Trousers are rail thin, while shorts accentuate the legs. The traditional tie is replaced by bows and quirk, that at one point even resemble a leash. Regardless, Delgado’s take on menswear is interesting and begs for a more intensive foray into our world.
