Designer Erik Hart may have put menswear on an infinite hiatus for his self-titled line, but the void is quickly filled by the recently developed MG Black Label. The second collection from the label was shown in coordination with Gen Art’s Fresh Faces in Fashion. The range is quite dark for spring, but with Hart’s record, it is a comfortable fit. Here, Hart stealthily blends motorcycle jackets with nylon wax windbreakers and layered numbers that pick up on the legging trend. Although a definite focus appears to be staying current, Hart keeps the range tidy, blending modern silhouettes and garments with traditional standbys in the form of smart shirting and trousers.
