Swedish brand Stutterheim takes its signature outerwear to the next level with its fall-winter 2016 collection. The label introduces a range of coats, crafted from waterproof bonded cotton. The utilitarian style joins Stutterheim’s rubberized cotton coats.
The season draws inspiration from the Italian design company, The Memphis Group and its military aesthetic. However, Stutterheim maintains its minimal Scandinavian character. Bringing together a variety of colors for fall, outerwear is both grounded and statement ready. Earthy, militaristic hues and pops of orange culminate in a brilliant color palette.

Discussing how Stutterheim approached the season, Head of Design, Patric Wallertz explains how the label explored new materials as the next logical progression. Wallertz shares, “We have been amazingly successful in proving that we are doing the best-rubberized cotton coats–now it’s time to show that we can do coats for everyday use in other materials–still protecting people from bad weather wherever they are.”
Stutterheim’s waterproof bonded cotton embraces three classic silhouettes, furnished as the brand’s parka, Crombie coat, and Coach jacket. The range is also complemented by quilted liners, which offer the option of added warmth. In addition to its new bonded cotton styles, Stutterheim introduces the M65 jacket, joining its signature styles in fresh colorways.
