Benedict Cumberbatch
Benedict Cumberbatch is an English actor. Born on July 19, 1976, Cumberbatch is known for performing in television, film, theatre, and radio. Taking the stage, Cumberbatch made his West End debut in Richard Eyre’s 2005 revival of Hedda Gabler. He’s gone on to star in the Royal National Theatre productions of Frankenstein and After the Dance. The English actor is best known for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in the series Sherlock. He also played Stephen Hawking in the television series Hawking. Cumberbatch’s filmography includes Star Trek: Into the Darkness, 12 Years a Slave, and The Imitation Game. Cumberbatch’s most popular role yet is playing Dr. Stephen Strange in 2016’s Doctor Strange.
