Henry Cavill is a British actor. Born on May 5, 1983, Cavill began his career with the film adaptations of The Count of Monte Cristo, and I Capture the Castle. Cavill’s breakthrough role came with the Showtime series The Tudors. This project led to a series of movie roles that culminated in Cavill portraying Superman in the DC Extended Universe. The British actor starred in two standalone Superman films as well as Justice League.
