Johnny Depp is an American actor and musician. Born on June 9, 1963, Depp rose to fame as a teen idol for his role in the 1980s series, 21 Jump Street. Moving beyond his heartthrob status, Depp earned praise for his diverse roles. Some of Depp’s best movies include Edward Scissorhands (1990), Sleepy Hollow (1999), and The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003).

The American actor is accomplished in the awards department as well. He took home the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Depp was also awarded the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for The Curse of the Black Pearl.

Off-screen, Depp catches eyes for his bohemian style. Depp’s unique charisma caught the attention of French fashion house Dior. The brand tapped him as the face of its men’s fragrance, Dior Sauvage.
