Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick Lamar is an American rapper. Hailing from Compton, California, Lamar is one of modern rap’s leading stars. Born on June 17, 1987, Lamar rose to fame, thanks in part to his large internet following and collaborations with artists such as Snoop Dogg. He received critical success with the release of his major label debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city.

The release debuted #2 on the US Billboard 200. It was later certified platinum. Some of the hits off the album range from Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe to Poetic Justice. Lamar has enjoyed continued success with his subsequent releases, To Pimp a Butterfly and Damn.
