Troye Sivan is a South African-born Australian singer. Born on June 5, 1995, in Johannesburg, South Africa, Sivan’s family moved to Australia when he was two-years-old. He grew up in Perth, Australia and rose to fame as a singer on YouTube. He also took part in Australian talent competitions. After two EPs, Sivan released his debut studio album Blue Neighbourhood. It included the single Youth, which reached number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100. An openly gay artist, Sivan came out to the public with a Youtube video on August 7, 2013.
