Updating Classics–Replacing British model Edward Wilding as the face of Versace Collection, French model Tarik Lakehal graces the pages of the label’s newly released fall/winter 2014 lookbook, unveiling the brand’s offering for the new season. Approaching to menswear with a relaxed and almost classic attitude, Versace Collection’s fall offering is about fundamental menswear garments, but revisited with a functional and modern vibe. The silhouettes are certainly tailored, but can be also applied to everyday life, thanks to a basic palette of grey and black tones, interrupted by a colorful explosion of vibrant hues, like sunshine yellow, rich reds or intriguing peacock nuances. Blending textures, fabrics and slim-fitted volumes, the fall collection also reveals a rebellious spin, represented by the massive use of black leather, both for trousers and biker-inspired jackets.
