The Kooples unveils its spring-summer 2016 lookbook on the heels of a presentation during Paris Fashion Week. This season, the Parisian label takes inspiration from the personal style of Waris Ahluwalia. A close friend of the brand’s co-founder and creative director, Alexander Elicha, the actor and designer is a muse for a world traveler.

The Kooples takes a journey throughout Asia, exploring different references. Borrowing from India, Western-style tailoring is juxtaposed with tunics and fluid silhouettes. Meanwhile, a trip to Japan serves as the groundwork for patchwork jeans, printed ties, and pajama-inspired pieces.
The Kooples’ new collection comes full circle with a rock ‘n’ roll motif, which includes skull buttons. Friends of The Kooples, Aaron Jah Stone and Lotho design sunglasses and jewelry for the outing.
