The Viridi-anne enters its Blue Period with a collection that takes note of Pablo Picasso’s work, but is moreso inspired by the actual time of day in which colors change from light blue to eventual black. Hoping to capture the type of feelings that this period brought out in artists and romantics alike, designer Tomoaki Okaniwa staged his latest show at at the medieval tower La Tour Jean Sans Peur. Offering a different perspective into the collection at each floor of the tower, the range gradually plunged into the darkness with a hope to find a certain beauty and sophistication.
