Thom Browne Fall/Winter 2014–Envisioning his own winter wonderland, various animals played into Thom Browne’s monochromatic showing. The core of the collection included a series of initial looks, playing to Browne’s strength in tailoring, as classic lines were combined with houndstooth, pinstripes and fraying. Adding a whimsical touch to easily accessible looks, hats constructed as rabbits, amphibians, elephants and more made for instant showstoppers. Tackling camouflage and more exaggerated shapes, graphic foliage covered jackets and pants that ballooned fantastically for a grand finale much like a page out of Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass.
