Unexpectedly, American designer Thom Browne took a page from the Japanese Geisha for his spring-summer 2016 menswear collection. Models hit the catwalk in Geta sandals, featuring the addition of Browne’s signature red, blue and white stripes. The designer tackled his own fifty shades of gray with a uniform look. Spotlighting tailored suiting, unorthodox shapes took a backseat this season as traditional silhouettes were dressed in Japanese-inspired graphics.
