The New Age–Models marched down the Tiger of Sweden runway for the spring/summer 2013 collection in a myriad of soft tailored blazers, sleek double-breasted jackets, voluminous outerwear, fitted cropped trousers, jolts of vibrant patterns, and pops of bright hues. The city of New York and Andy Warhol’s art studio, “The Factory” served as the driving catalysts behind the artistic direction of the collection. Head designers Ronnie McDonald and Christian Lippich carefully channeled the aesthetics pop art and the bold creative movement 1960s and 1970s of New York, contrasting vivid hues against a monochrome palette, infusing expressive patterns into suiting separates, and restructuring the iconic parka and trench coat into modern staples for a dynamic and refined collection made for the contemporary man.
