This fall, enter the drunk world of Tijana Pavlov where society is on the brink of collapse and the line has been blurred between ready-to-wear and avant-garde fashion. Finding order in the midst of chaos, Pavlov creates a look that is off the cuff, yet makes sense. The fabrics of convention are worn away by interesting cuts and then strapped down, evoking the often troubling nature of bondage and the human state of insanity. Continuing on this note is the attention grabbing robe that leaves nothing to the imagination, in fact defeating a robe’s purpose. The collection plays with the notion of what is acceptable and reinforces Pavlov’s obsession with futuristic menswear that defies society’s norms.
