Plain traditional v-neck sweaters, cable knits, and button-ups contribute to the clutter that plagued the Trovata runway. These typical pieces left a lot to be desired and unfortunately overshadowed the few show highlights. Perhaps, Trovata should have opted for a showroom presentation. The few instances in which Trovata creative director, John Whitledge used color resulted in attractive outerwear with clean lines and the unexpected, but delightful placement of fasteners and buttons. Better luck next time, Mr. Whitledge.
Oh how wrong you are Mr. reviewer!! My friends and colleagues loved it who attended. There was a great look of presence. Kudos Trovata!

i would say that i am in the corner with Fashionisto, they have had much stronger collections. the silhouettes are not anywhere near some of the leading competitors, but it is a bad move to go conservative right now… terribly bland and no sign of innovation
