Trussardi 1911 celebrates a centennial of celebrated fashions with Milan Vukmirovic’s latest efforts for the label being shown at Pitti Uomo. Paying tribute to Trussardi 1911’s technical achievements and fine legacy in craftsmanship, Vukmirovic looks to leather and other luxurious fabrics to define the direction of his fall 2011 collection. Looking to create wearable garments with a contemporary vision, t-shirts, vests, trousers, parkas and other standbys get a revamp as luxe materials go modern. From a relaxed suede top and ribbed lamb poncho to a new take on camouflage, Trussardi 1911’s man moves forward with a clean streamlined-look that provides a masculine edge with a hint of fragility.
