Textured Journey–Viktor & Rolf look to Jule Verne’s novel A Journey to the Center of the Earth for the inspiration of their fall/winter 2013 collection. Instead of sedimentary rocks, Viktor & Rolf find texture, grounded prints and charming menswear motifs to dress their sleek tailored vision. Crafting a wardrobe of luster and ribbed finishes, dark hues deliver a refined showing in shades of gray.
So far this is my favorite of the collections. The fabrics used are original and exciting. Great pictures, as usual.
