Summer Away-Viktor & Rolf take to the Indian summer in style with their new spring/summer 2013 collection. Boasting a lineup of predominantly seasoned models, the design duo sent their men on a colorful adventure, conjuring up a palette of creamy neutrals juxtaposed with warm colors of the sun. Beginning with an homage to the sandy expedition, khaki sportswear found a streamlined style in baggy fits. Transitioning into more bold pieces, specifically unique to the season, a hint of metallics, courtesy of ties fit in well with sequin adorned suiting in hues of orange. Contrasted against an intricate geometrical print, the collection shifted from accessible everyday pieces, cue parka or long-sleeved tee to Viktor & Rolf’s strength, tailored menswear with special attention paid to the finish and voice of the garment.
