Vivienne Westwood Fall/Winter 2014–Mixing a love for hip-hop with a call to action about the dire situation of the global environment, British designer Vivienne Westwood sent a dark collection down the Milanese catwalk. Baggy, textured or dressed in gold, the tracksuit was interjected with volume for a dramatic fit. Meanwhile, models paraded down the runway with hair tightly slicked back as if with oil, wearing tailored suits that were trampled upon with dark tonal prints. Having fun with items such as the bomber and casual shorts, Westwood gravitated towards slouchy oversized fits for an overall collection that was relaxed but boasted a serious message.
