Woolrich John Rich & Bros. x Shinsuke Kojima Fall/Winter 2016 Men’s Capsule Collection

Woolrich John Rich & Bros. links up with Japanese designer Shinsuke Kojima for a fall-winter 2016 capsule collection. Woolrich’s storied heritage collides with Kojima’s Japanese point of view for a smart spin on American sportswear. Manufactured in Japan, the range features Supima fine cotton weather, super 100 flannel wool, 3ply 10’s brushed twill, Harris tweed x Ventile, indigo denim, super soft Shetland wool and indigo chambray. Borrowing inspiration from Woolrich’s archives, from the early 1900s through the 1980s, standouts of the outing include the Jungle jacket and Mountain parka. The two pieces perfectly capture Woolrich’s outdoors spirit and military-inspired aesthetic.

Woolrich John Rich & Bros.’ fall-winter 2016 collection sees the introduction of fur-free version of the brand’s iconic Arctic parka. Originally created in 1972, the redesigned coat features a high collar and new double-closure hood that provides a modern update on the classic. Woolrich also revisits its Mountain jacket and Mountain parka for the season. Both signature styles are relaunching with the use of GORE-TEX, giving the outerwear a waterproof and windproof finish, while still being breathable.
