Motorstyle–Woolrich Woolen Mills reveals their fall/winter 2013 collection during the course of Milan Fashion Week, once again recruiting model David Hlinka for the season’s lookbook. Designer Mark McNairy’s fifth outing for the season, the new collection is inspired by vintage motor sports, reinterpreting garments of the 1930’s and 40’s, utilizing heritage Woolrich prints and fabrics. With the collection made entirely in the USA, wool prints and vintage tweeds represent a dapper aesthetic fused with a rugged energy. Two-piece suits are cut from wool and tweed, while accessories charm with a throwback to 1930’s essentials, ranging from bow-ties and braces to newsboy caps. Honing in on outerwear, the striped poncho and peacoat are fall’s standouts with timeless Woolrich pieces making the modern grade.
