The 20 Years: Recoded anniversary festivities from adidas and Yohji Yamamoto are coming to an end, and they’re doing it provocatively by working with Palace on a line of clothing, accessories, and shoes. In honor of the occasion, Palace reimagined classics from Y-3’s past by giving them a new twist.
Y-3 x Palace Collection Campaign
The new Y-3 x Palace collection—promoted with a witty aphorism-based advertising campaign—is being brought to life by the lens of Jack Davison and the styling of Robbie Spencer. This spectacular homage to athletic history features football superstar Zinedine Zidane and skateboarding great Lucas Puig.
Palace has always been known for its innovative approach to streetwear and culture, so it was only natural to work with Y-3 on a new collection celebrating its 20th anniversary. The line includes highlights such as reversible souvenir and puffer jackets—starting November 11th at Palace stores, online, and on Confirmed.
The Y-3 x Palace collection is a mix of Yohji Yamamoto’s defining looks, with the classics elevated to new heights. Hits from the collection include a nylon wool coach jacket and matching pants, a graphic football tee, a softly tailored blazer and coordinating pants, and a custom track top and track pants. Foldable running caps, running beanies, a skeleton print beanie, a cross-body bag, and a bucket hat are a few of the accessories that stand out thanks to their adaptable elements and striking graphics.
The Y-3 YUUTO sneaker is the ultimate symbol of innovation, sportiness, and modernity. With its instantly recognizable design and intricate details, the shoe has become a status symbol for sneakerheads. Palace revisits the classic shoe for its collaboration with Y-3. The YUUTO receives an update via co-branded Palace and Y-3 detailing, which includes a textile upper with rubberized locks, a concealed internal lacing system, and an adiPRENE sole unit.
