Yohji Yamamoto looked to the working man as muse for his fall-winter 2017 men’s collection. The Japanese designer sent a parade of soot covered models down the catwalk. Yamamoto’s intriguing man donned relaxed and elongated silhouettes. Skillfully layering, tunics, plunging waistcoats, and tapered trousers contributed to Yamamoto’s uniform. Meanwhile, oversized coats and blazers completed ready to replicate looks. Offering different classes within the ranks, the collection delivered everything from dusty hues and intricate prints to somber black.
