Showing in Tokyo, Yohji Yamamoto returned to the runway for the fall 2010 season. Employing local celebrities as the show’s models, Yamamoto showcased a modest collection of his oversized silhouettes. Aiming for substance over style, the designer looked to the prominent focus of dark suiting accented by the occasional use of color or camouflage. Overall, it was a tame effort for Yohji Yamamoto, but on the bright side, he has promised a regular return to the runway format.
