The latest victim of the recession is Brooklyn based label Yoko Devereaux. After a nine year run, the trendy budget conscious label is shutting down as a result of Wing Son Garments, who owns fifty percent of the company, pulling their funding. Beginning today and lasting through July 2, 2009 between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., the Yoko Devereaux store will be having their liquidation sale, which will include t-shirts for $5, wovens and cardigans for $20 and $40 for outerwear. Fixtures, furniture, etc. will also be for sale. Items are already available online for purchase. (WWD)
