Solar Fashion–Bringing the military motif into the modern age, Z Zegna designer Paul Surridge looked to a new reflective material, created especially for the season. A sportswear treat, iridescent fabrics shimmered as the collection’s many pieces were reinterpreted in several forms. The suiting jacket came as a 3-button variation, double-breasted or fastened with four buttons and finished with halved shoulders. At the same time, elasticized baggy shorts were paired with a more casual version of the army shirt. A collection of loose slouchy silhouettes in neutral colors, Surridge recruited everything from high waist trousers and parkas to the field jacket for a striking outing of strong will.
