Elevated wardrobe pieces take the spotlight as classic silhouettes inspire modern designs. The collection rolls out a 7-piece denim capsule, offering straight-fit jeans in various washes.
The denim range includes full-leg cuts and tapered styles that finish smartly at the ankle. Alongside, there’s a mix of tailoring, leather jackets, and shirts, all channeling that unmistakable 90s charm.
Zara enlists models Simon Nessman, Justin Eric Martin, and Momo Ndiaye to showcase the “90s Archive,” and share the style icons they look up to from the era.
“Personally, I’ve always looked to Harrison Ford for style inspiration,” shares Justin. “The prototype, rough and rugged, meets adventurous western vibe. Everything felt so worn in, like the clothes were specifically made to be worn by him. There’s really nothing cooler than that. I love the way he made workwear look so refined.”
Momo nods to JFK Jr. as his style hero. “For me, it’s got to be JFK Jr. The 90s preppy look that he wore so well. Even looking back on some of his style choices—always very cool and relaxed like he just threw them on, you know? Just so sophisticated in a very natural way. The effortlessness is something I have always admired.”
Simon reflects on Denzel Washington’s timeless appeal. “Just iconic. The simple classics elevated, from the white tee and blue jeans to the shirt tucked into some pleated pants, even the full suit.” He adds, “Just think 90s paparazzi style, be it movie premiere or airport, his looks were just so timeless and elegant.”
Zara’s “90s Archive” proves that the decade’s influence remains, celebrating the era’s versatility and attitude, ensuring these styles stay iconic.
